Five Dollars

God has been teaching me that nothing can change how much He loves me. Nothing I've done. Nothing someone else did to me. The same is true for you; nothing and I really do mean NOTHING can change His desire for you. Living like you are not worthy is to believe the liar and to spit in the face of the Truth Himself. The Sovereign Master of the Universe thinks you are to die for; as a matter of fact He did die for you. Who are you to tell Him He is wrong?

Look at it this way, $5 is worth $5 no matter what you do to it. You can have it sit beautifully in your wallet without a single wrinkle. You can fold it. You can fold it over and over again. You can crumble it up. You can throw it on the the ground. You can stomp on it with all your might. But its still worth $5.

But maybe it wasn't you that did the stomping. What if someone came and hurt you? What if they didn't say they were sorry? What if they made you think you are less than who He says you are? What if they said you were unworthy? What if you listened to them? What if they betrayed you? What if they raped you? What if they broke your heart? What if?

If you put that $5 in your bible, guess what happens? It flattens out again. Yes, it has scars. The wrinkles are still there. But no one can change the value of a $5 bill. Because that is what it was made to be. It's maker chose to give it the worth it has, and no one can take that away. NO ONE. Your Maker chose to give you worth. He chose to make you His son or His daughter. He choose to send Jesus to suffer in your place, because He could not bear the thought of spending eternity without you. He chose you. Believe you are who He says you are. You are His precious one. You are His beloved.

So choose to believe Him today. This life is but a breath. Any pain you have, He feels it. He sees it. He knows. Wrap yourself in His Word. Let Him heal you. For you, are new creation.
